About the summer camp
Led by Occupational Therapist (OT) Kirstin Thornburrow and Speech & Language Therapist (SLT) Grace Leung‑Aprea, 2026 Summer Camp: Ready, Set, School is designed for children aged 3–5 to build confidence and the key skills needed for a smooth, successful transition to school.
Through fun, play-based group activities, children will practise attention and listening, following routines and instructions, emotional regulation, and social communication, such as taking turns, joining in play, and using words to express needs. We also support early learning foundations that help children participate successfully in the classroom, including readiness for early language, pre-learning concepts, and simple classroom independence.
Our goal is for every child to leave camp feeling more confident, more independent, and ready to thrive when school starts.
