Give your child the gift of great sleep
Sleep is one of the most fundamental foundations of early childhood development, enabling infants to thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally. During deep sleep, a child’s body produces human growth hormone (HGH), which plays a key role in physical growth, brain development, immune strength, and emotional regulation.
Sleep is essential for parents too. When your child sleeps better, your whole family rests better. A predictable, peaceful sleep routine can bring balance, energy, and calm back into your household.
At OT&P Healthcare, our Infant & Toddler Gentle Sleep Training service offers gentle, personalised, and science-based strategies to help your child learn to sleep independently and to help your family rediscover the joy of a full night’s rest.
If your young child is struggling with sleep, you’re not alone. Our sleep coach at OT&P offers expert, family-centred support and guidance for the following common sleep problems in toddlers:
Repeated awakenings throughout the night requiring feeding, rocking, or holding to return to sleep.
Reliance on feeding, motion, or parental presence to initiate sleep.
Short naps caused by an inability to link sleep cycles.
Sudden trouble in settling down due to developmental milestones, causing sleep dependencies like needing to be held to sleep.
Waking up before 6:00 am.
Child resists bedtime routines, often crying or purposefully delaying bedtime.
Our expert sleep coach offers guidance and support to help you and your child navigate key sleep milestones.
Gentle support for moving toward independent sleep.
Gradual reductions of nighttime feeds when your baby is developmentally ready.
Guidance for families with older toddlers adjusting to a new bed.

Our child’s sleep went from 2-3, sometimes 4 wakes a night to sleep through the night in just over 1 week. We are so grateful to have Robynn by our side, holding our hand through this process.
So professional, helpful, warm, patient, supportive. Thank you for not just telling us what to do but also explaining the “why” in detail. We do feel more equipped to work on future sleep challenges.
We’re here to support your family’s sleep journey, helping your child learn to sleep soundly and independently.

As a Certified Gentle Sleep Coach®, OT&P’s Sleep Trainer Robynn is not a licensed physician or medical provider and will not offer medical advice. Medical conditions and psychological, lactational, and nutritional care are outside the scope of sleep training.
While a few babies between four and five months may show early readiness for sleep coaching, most aren’t developmentally prepared until around six months. Sleep training or coaching can begin once your baby has reached the six-month milestone. Your paediatrician must confirm that they can night wean or sleep for 6 hours or above, and no medical concerns exist.
The length of the training process varies depending on your child’s needs and your family’s goals. Many families see meaningful improvements within 2-3 weeks, while others may benefit from ongoing support, especially for more complex sleep challenges.
OT&P's sleep coaching usually starts with a 60-minute in-person consultation, followed by six 30-minute follow-up phone consultations to allow greater flexibility for parents.
While results depend on the family’s execution of the plan, our sleep coach will continuously follow up closely on the sleep data and ensure that families feel supported and confident.
Families will typically see improvements such as more extended, consistent periods of night sleep, fewer night wakings, and enhanced predictability in sleep routines. Outside of sleep, parents report feeling less stressed and better able to enjoy family time and personal time. Ultimately, the goal is to establish healthy, sustainable sleep habits that benefit the whole family.
A coaching session includes a discussion of your child’s sleep patterns, routines, sleeping environments, and strategies to gently and gradually wean off sleep dependencies. We will periodically review progress and address challenges to adjust the sleep plan. We aim to run collaborative and supportive sessions, providing actionable sleep training methods, advice and strategies.
The package can be paused without judgement until your child recovers, and we suggest families hold off on coaching to leave at least 2-3 weeks of consistent days where sleep can be prioritised to ensure coaching can run smoothly.
While some special needs cases may need medical assistance, complementing it with behavioural intervention is often recommended. Our Gentle Sleep Coach® has years of experience with S.E.N. toddlers as an ABA Behavioural Therapist and can work closely with families to tackle sleep troubles with strategies that align with the family’s values and ABA/VB methods.
