About this OT&P summer camp
Perfect for children aged 4 to 6, this Jungle Safari Adventure Summer Camp 2026 is led by Occupational Therapist (OT) Kirstin Thornburrow and designed for preschoolers and young children who want to build stronger skills in a fun, supportive way.
This hands-on, play-based camp develops fine motor skills, pre-writing/handwriting foundations, and everyday independence. Children will practise pencil grip, pre-writing strokes, hand strength and finger control, and scissor skills, and build practical self-care skills such as buttons, zippers, and shoelaces—all while improving bilateral coordination (using both hands together).
With jungle safari–themed games, “animal missions,” and creative crafts, children will strengthen essential school-readiness skills while exploring, creating, and making new friends.
