What is OT&P's approach to Dermatology?

Dermatology refers to the scientific study concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of skin disorders. Because the field covers a range of skin-related issues that may overlap with cosmetology and skincare, there can be a lot of conflicting advice on how best to treat skin problems.

At OT&P, we provide advice from a medical standpoint. Our in-house dermatologist is a certified doctor trained in internal medicine and dermatology, who takes patients' health history into account and advise on preventative care. Outside of skin treatment, our dermatologist can also provide consultation on the health of your hair and nails.

We take a holistic approach when it comes to looking after our patients' health and well-being.

Who should get a Dermatological consultation?

It's best to book an Dermatologist appointment when you are experiencing chronic itchiness, hair loss, worsening acne or any other concerning skin problems.

Our dermatologist specialises in clinical adult and paediatric dermatology, and can handle common cases like atopic eczema, contact allergic dermatitis, viral warts, mole checking, psoriasis, fungal skin, and nail infections.

Additionally, we can  carry out minor skin procedures like mole removal, cryosurgery for viral warts, skin biopsies, and intralesional steroids injections for keloids.

We also welcome consultations for those considering cosmetic-related procedures for the skin (including Botox, chemical peels, and dermal fillers) and can provide advice according to your needs.
