Experience

Hennis is a Registered Dietitian with over 10 years of experience in nutrition and healthcare in the US and Hong Kong. She earned her Master’s in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from New York University and has a background training in medical nutrition therapy, providing individualized nutrition for the management of chronic and complex conditions.

Before relocating to Hong Kong, Hennis worked as a clinical dietitian at leading New York City hospitals, including NYU Langone Health and Mount Sinai Hospital. She supported clients of all ages and backgrounds, offering nutrition care, therapeutic diets, and nutrition counseling for various conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, cancer, critical illness in the ICU, and pediatrics. Witnessing the powerful role nutrition plays in health outcomes and recovery inspired her to shift her focus toward prevention—helping people stay well, not just get well.

Hennis’ passion for healthy eating has led her to participate in public health campaigns, lead community workshops, and engage in cooking demonstrations in community spaces. She has published articles, editorials, and contributed as a nutrition expert reviewer for a health and fitness platform. Her expertise has been featured in several US media publications including Yahoo! Health, Eating Well, and Everyday Health.

Hennis takes a personalized, holistic approach that recognizes how nutrition, lifestyle, stress, and mindset all work together to shape health, with a focus on longevity, prevention, and long-term well-being. As a Certified Fertility Dietitian, she supports individuals and couples through key life stages, particularly fertility, preconception, and pregnancy, with nutrition and lifestyle interventions that can influence the health of future generations.

With so much conflicting information out there, Hennis is passionate about helping people cut through the noise, make informed choices, and create sustainable habits for living and feeling at their best.
