Overview

What is Metamucil?

Metamucil is a fiber supplement known for its laxative properties and is used to promote digestive health.

Psyllium husk, the bulk-forming fiber in Metamucil, is derived from the seeds of the Plantago ovata plant. It absorbs liquid in the intestines and swells to form a soft, bulky stool.
