Overview

What is Actifed Syrup?

Actifed Syrup is a combination medication that contains two primary ingredients: triprolidine hydrochloride, an antihistamine that helps reduce allergy symptoms, and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, a decongestant that relieves nasal congestion. This syrup is typically a clear, red liquid with a sweet taste, designed for oral use.

The structure of Actifed Syrup is a carefully balanced liquid solution, ensuring that each dose delivers a consistent amount of the active ingredients. It is produced through pharmaceutical compounding, which combines the active compounds with syrupy bases and flavoring agents to make it palatable.
