How Do You Treat Musculoskeletal Pain?

Prevent musculoskeletal system injuries with proper activity and posture.

The COVID-19 pandemic has largely affected our daily life, with inactivity becoming increasingly prevalent. With a lack of a proper workstation at home, as well as inaccessibility to gym facilities, the majority of the population has inevitably developed poor working posture.

Here are a few tips to prevent injuries, live a healthy and pain-free life during the pandemic for your musculoskeletal system:

  • Be active.
  • Train all muscles. Get them activated in action to maintain neutral posture (no muscle imbalance that causes weakness and tightness on one side).
  • Good ergonomics, always be aware of posture.
  • Seek advice as soon as possible if you feel pain or have uncertainties. A physiotherapist will guide you through correcting and improving posture through assessment and treatment techniques.
