Ways To Reduce Neck Stiffness From A Poking Chin

Musculoskeletal Disorders

Symptoms of poking chin include feeling pain all around the neck, especially when looking up all the way. People with poking chins feel more comfortable in a forward or looking down position. The root causes of poking chin include spending too much time in front of a phone or a laptop that is placed too low.

Self-treatment:
  • Perform neck strengthening exercises
  • Monitor ergonomic position (e.g. Eyes should be looking parallel to the centre of the screen monitor)
Poking chin can increase the tension in the muscles, leading to strain and, in turn, pain.
