Experience

After being heavily involved in competitive sport and working with therapists to rehab his own injuries, a career in physiotherapy seemed a natural progression for Simon. He completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology with a major in Exercise Science at the University of the Fraser Valley in Canada in 2014. Following this he completed a Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy in 2016 at the Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK.

After completing his Master’s Degree Simon practised as a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in London working for the National Health Service. Here he developed a passion for post-operative rehab while working closely with orthopaedic surgeons to get individuals back to top form following injury.

Simon believes strongly in patient centered care. This means finding the primary contributing factor for each individual issue while also considering the unique personal factors involved for the patient. He finds that a dynamic approach consisting of manual therapy, biomechanical correction, exercise prescription, and lifestyle management is key. He also has qualifications in acupuncture, dry needling, matwork Pilates, and ACL rehab. Simon is passionate about empowering individuals to achieve goals of all varieties ranging from pain management and injury recovery, return to sport and training for performance.

Still a keen athlete himself, Simon maintains his interest for strength and conditioning as well as Hyrox, rock climbing, trail running, and is a sub 3 hour marathoner. He also worked for a number of years as first team physio in the Hong Kong premier rugby league.
