Dr Yik is a board-certified naturopathic doctor who was educated and trained in Canada. She received her Bachelor of Science degree with distinction in Human Biology from the University of Toronto. She then entered into the naturopathic medical program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she earned the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) designation.

Dr Yik is licensed and registered with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy (Naturopathy), the regulatory body for naturopathic medicine in Ontario, Canada. Before her relocation to Hong Kong in 2008, she was Clinic Director of a successful health clinic in Toronto. She has treated a wide range of conditions including digestive complaints, women’s health concerns such as menstrual disorders and polycystic ovarian syndrome, liver disorders, eczema, chronic stress/ACh fatigue, etc.

Dr Yik has also provided integrative care for patients diagnosed with breast, ovarian and colon cancer. Utilizing a combination of clinical nutrition, nutraceuticals, herbal medicine, Asian medicine and lifestyle counselling.

Dr Yik facilitates optimal health by supporting the body’s ability to heal itself. Her goal is to address the cause of illness rather than to simply treat or suppress symptoms. She understands that no two persons are alike therefore treatment plans are specifically tailored to each individual’s needs.
