Maddysen Chen is an Australian-trained Clinical Psychologist who completed her Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and Master of Clinical Psychology at Central Queensland University, followed by a Master of Autism Studies at Griffith University. She completed her clinical training across community mental health, hospital, and university settings in both metropolitan and rural/remote areas, and adult and youth services in Australia.

Maddysen has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults presenting with autism, ADHD, specific learning disorders, anxiety, mood difficulties, and challenges in emotional and behavioural regulation. Her clinical work is grounded in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), delivered within a neurodiversity-affirming framework. She provides comprehensive psychoeducational and diagnostic assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. Her professional interests include autism, ADHD, and broader neurodevelopmental conditions.Maddysen is fluent in English and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She is also a professional member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
