Nivedita is a certified psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, mindfulness and meditation facilitator and registered clinical supervisor in Hong Kong.

She is trained in EMDR, CBT, TA, Psychodynamics, meditation, mindfulness, hypnosis and yogic breathing practices from Australia, the UK, USA, India and Singapore. Currently, she is pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She regularly conducts clinical supervision for other mental health providers and trainees.

She has a special interest in treating trauma, anxiety and depression arising from painful life events such as abuse, betrayal, relationship breakup, critical illnesses and loss. She treats individuals with issues such as anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, grief, obsessive intrusive thoughts, flashbacks, PTSD, IBS, poor sleep and low mood in individuals as well as adolescents.

Nivedita conducts regular workshops for corporates in mental health wellness and has been featured in numerous newspaper articles and magazines.

Nivedita also treats patients diagnosed with acute and or critical illnesses such as cancer, auto-immune disorders, tinnitus and heart attack. Her treatment focuses on helping individuals to build emotional resilience, accelerate healing through pain control techniques and reduction and/or elimination of the fear of recurrence or flare-ups.

Nivedita applies hypnotic inductions in the psychotherapy context to eliminate or reduce phobias, unwanted habits, improve performance, build confidence and achieve action-oriented goals.
