Gurjiven is a registered physiotherapist with a background in exercise physiology and high-performance science. Having started as a personal trainer, he had over 8 years of experience in the health and fitness industry before pursuing a career in private clinical health care.

Gurjiven has worked with a wide variety of clientele with an even wider range of conditions, ranging from desk jockeys and weekend warriors to elite athletes, having worked in the capacity of a strength and conditioning coach for Hong Kong’s men’s national cricket team and Hong Kong elite women’s lacrosse team, and the National Age Grade Development program of Hong Kong Rugby Union. Graduated with a BSc in Sports Science and Master in Physiotherapy from Hong Kong, and an MSc in Sport and Exercise Physiology from the UK, Gurjiven understands the complexities of movement and multi-factorial contribution to injuries and pain and as such follows personalized exercise and hands-on approach that is evidence-based, towards treating the underlying cause of conditions rather than symptoms alone.
