Dr Christie graduated from Aberdeen University in Scotland in 1990.  She then completed her GP rotation in the UK in 1995.  After training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Paediatrics, she obtained diplomas in these specialties.  Her interest in Dermatology also lead to further studies and she has received a diploma in Dermatology.  She has undergone higher training in family medicine, and was accepted into the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine as a specialist in Family Medicine. She relocated back from the UK in 1995 and has been practising in Hong Kong since 1996.  As a family physician, she provides a comprehensive holistic approach to her patients.

Biography:

Dr Simon Lam received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Oxford in 1993, and then went on to pursue postgraduate training in General Internal Medicine and Neurology in United Kingdom. He was a clinical research fellow at the Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Liverpool, and medical registrar at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. He has been a Member of the Royal College of Physician in London since 1996.

He moved from UK to Hong Kong in 2000, and has since been working in general practice. Dr Lam travels regularly to Europe, the United States, Australia and New Zealand to further his professional knowledge in order to remain at the forefront of medical care. 

Dr Simon Lam has over 20 years of experience managing chronic medical conditions in Hospital Medical clinics as
well as in General Practice clinics aiming to restore optimal function and wellness. He combines two models of

Dr. Wai Ka Hung is a specialist in General Surgery sub-specialising in Breast Surgery. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1991 with Distinction in Surgery and he had received a few undergraduate awards. After surgical training at Queen Mary Hospital and Kwong Wah Hospital, he received further training in Breast Surgery in London and Cardiff, UK in 1999.

Dr Lam is an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon and prior to joining OT&P in 2017, he was a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in London for over 10 years.

Dr Lam graduated from the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guys and St Thomas’s Hospitals, University of London in 1996. His Specialist Registrar training was spent on the Kent, Surrey and Sussex rotation (Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’s Hospitals).

Dr Lam underwent further fellowship training in shoulder surgery with Dr Joe de Beer in Cape Town, South Africa, as well as in shoulder and upper limb surgery with Dr Daniel Mok at Epsom, UK. On completion of her internship, she returned to Hong Kong in 1996 to start her general surgical training at the Queen Mary Hospital. 

Since 1999 she joined the Department of Surgery at the Prince of Wales Hospital and completed her higher training in Paediatric Surgery and Paediatric Urology, being awarded her FCSHK, FRCSed (Paed) and FHKAM (Surgery) in 2005.

Not only was she one of the first surgeons in Hong Kong to undergo the conjoint fellowship examination in the sub-specialty of Paediatric Surgery but she is the first female Paediatric Surgeon in Hong Kong.

Dr Sihoe had continued to work in the Division of Paediatric Surgery and Paediatric Urology at the Prince of Wales Hospital. She has contributed widely in research, publishing a number of indexed medical journals as well as medical book chapters.

Dr Liu was formerly the Head of Retina Service at the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences of the Prince of Wales Hospital, Hong Kong. Dr. Liu has published over 170 scientific papers in international peer reviewed journals. He is now serving several international peer reviewed journal editorial boards as editors or reviewers.

During his years of clinical practice, Dr. Liu has received many professional awards, including the Hospital Authority Prince of Wales Hospital Public Appreciation Award and the Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) Nakajima Award.

Biography:

Dr Chan was educated in the United States of America, and graduated from University of California Irvine with a Bachelor of Science degree, before coming back to University of Hong Kong for medical school. He has been practicing as an opthalmologist since 2001. 

Dr Chan has particular interest in the subspecialty of glaucoma, with overseas glaucoma fellowship attachments at Doheny Eye Institute, University of Southern California and Jules Stein Eye Institute, University of California Los Angeles 2005.

Dr Angel Kwok graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1995. 

Dr Kwok received her anaesthetic training at Kwong Wah Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Caritas Medical Centre in Hong Kong. She obtained her fellowship from the Hong Kong College of Anaesthesiologists (FHKCA) and Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) in 2004.

She extended her subspecialty training in vascular anaesthesia at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne in 2005. After having promoted to Associate consultant in 2006, she continued to advance her experience in paediatric anaesthesia at the Department of Anaesthesia, Woman and Children s hospital in Adelaide, Australia.

Biography:

Dr. Assad Hussain graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1999.

Dr Hussain was trained at the Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong and the Royal Adelaide Hospital in Australia.

He is a fellow of The Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anesthetists (FFPMANZCA). In 2013, he was amongst the first to be granted a specialist qualification in Pain Medicine in Hong Kong.

He is trained to utilise a full range of multi-disciplinary patient management options which is now recognised as the cornerstone in the treatment of patients suffering from pain.

Dr. Hussain’s interests include ultrasound guided nerve blocks and interventional pain management. He was recently one of the first and few in Hong Kong who obtained the globally recognised World Institute of Pain's Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice (FIPP) certification.

Dr Hussain has also been working as an anaesthetist in private practice since 2010. He is a resident anaesthetist and Honorary Consultant to the Medical Advisory Committee of the Matilda International Hospital.
